Better Online Teaching

An instructor’s goal is to contribute to a student’s learning not only through the content presented within the courses taught, but to ensure the skills to learn are also developed through the activities of critical thinking and inquiry. The improvement of the practice of teaching with respect to these goals is a continuous pursuit for instructors who are concerned with the results of their efforts in the changing environment of the online classroom (Orcutt, 2016).
